Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a senior leader to head the Structures function within Technical Services in Sepang. You will provide technical leadership, direction and expertise to the team, ensuring safety, airworthiness and in-service reliability for assigned structures.

You will act as the technical focal point with aviation authorities, senior leaders and vendors, shape the future direction of Structures, balance maintenance costs with reliability, manage vendors and direct reports, and deputise

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in Structures/Technical Services.
• Experience with regulatory aviation standards and authorities.
• Strong relationship management with internal/external stakeholders.
• Able to deputise for Senior Manager, Technical Services.
• Understanding of Part-145 and Part-M requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Structures function and provide technical leadership, direction and expertise to the team.
• Ensure the safety, airworthiness and in-service reliability of the assigned Structures function.
• Act as the key technical focal point when engaging with aviation authorities, senior MAB leaders and vendors.
• Develop the future direction of the Structures function by considering technical, regulatory and business requirements.
• Balance maintenance costs with operational reliability and support the airline's premium service objectives.
• Manage vendors and ensure agreed service levels and performance requirements are met.
• Manage direct reports, including performance, development and other HR-related matters.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including FTM customers.
• Deputise for the Senior Manager, Technical Services when required.
