Job summary

NOV in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced AVEVA CAD designer to produce PFD, P&ID, UFD and related drawings using AUTOCAD or AVEVA tools. The role requires hands-on AVEVA experience and strong drafting skills for Oil & Gas projects.

You will review specifications, maintain AVEVA data structures, and support process engineers on projects such as gas dehydration, TEG regeneration, and seawater treatment. Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Production Engineering with 5+ years AVEVA is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Production Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in Process/ Mechanical Design/Drafting.
• Proven AVEVA software experience with P&ID knowledge.
• Strong proficiency in AVEVA Software suite.
• Ability to read and interpret process documents (PFD, P&ID, HMB, datasheet).

Responsibilities

• Draft process drawings including PFD, P&ID/AVEVA P&ID or AVEVA Diagram, UFD using AUTOCAD or AVEVA software.
• Review project specifications to ensure drawings meet client expectations with proper legends and numbering.
• Generate and update process line lists, equipment lists, tag databases, and AVEVA content.
• Ensure correct AVEVA data, attributes, and specifications in the AVEVA environment.
• Support process engineers in preparing PFD, P&IDs, HMB and datasheets linked to deliverables.
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical disciplines for accurate data representation.
