Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Trainer to design, implement, and evaluate automotive training programs aimed at boosting employee skills and performance. You will collaborate with department leaders to identify needs and develop content aligning with organizational goals.

The role requires a Diploma in Automotive (TVET) and 1–3 years’ experience, plus strong LMS and e-learning capabilities to deliver hybrid sessions and practical workshops.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Automotive (TVET), TVET-I, Vocational training officer or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a training automotive role.
• Strong understanding of automotive teaching principles and instructional design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to facilitate engaging training sessions.
• Experience with LMS and e-learning software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver training programs for employees.
• Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations with managers.
• Create instructional materials such as manuals, presentations, and handouts.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs via evaluations and feedback.
• Deliver practical class and workshop sessions with a hands-on approach.
• Conduct multi-platform training: physical, online, and hybrid classes.
• Provide evaluation rubric and participant logbook.
• Conduct theory and practical tests consistently.
• Follow global automotive trends and contribute ideas for module improvements.
• Assist in training QA (quality, effectiveness, participant feedback).
• Become a mentor to junior trainers or excellent participants.
• Track and report on training outcomes to measure success and areas for improvement.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and support as needed.
