Job summary

Benz Garage Auto Works in Kuala Selangor is seeking a competent automobile mechanic with 1–2 years of experience to perform routine servicing and repairs. The role requires basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance, ability to identify and inspect problems, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

You will work in a supportive team, follow workshop procedures, and contribute to a positive working environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in car mechanics is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge and skills in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Able to identify, inspect and repair vehicle problems.
• Punctual, responsible and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team while following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular vehicle servicing and maintenance (oil changes, brakes, batteries, tyres).
• Inspect, identify and repair mechanical faults and basic electrical problems.
• Carry out repairs and replacement of spare parts per workshop procedures.
• Ensure workshop area is clean, organized and safe.
• Provide clear explanations of problems and required repairs to customers.

Have own transportation to commute to work.

Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Break: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM / Friday Break: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM (Friday prayer)

Any changes to the working days or hours will be informed accordingly.

Responsibility

• Perform regular vehicle servicing and maintenance, such as changing engine oil and checking brakes, batteries, tyres and related components.
• Inspect, identify and repair mechanical faults and basic vehicle electrical problems.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify damaged or faulty components that need to be replaced.
• Carry out repair work and replacement of spare parts according to workshop procedures.
• Ensure that workshop equipment and the working area are always clean, organised and safe.
• Provide good customer service and explain the vehicle problems and required repair work to customers in a basic and understandable manner.
