Job summary

Soong Meng Service S/B is hiring for a permanent, in-person Parts Inventory Clerk in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role focuses on maintaining accurate stock levels, timely parts availability for service and repair, and orderly storage with Kaizen/5S practices.

You will report to the supervisor and handle ordering as required. Salary ranges from RM1,800.00 to RM2,200.00 per month, reflecting local market rates for a full-time on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to SM/superior.
• Responsible for parts inventory and storage to ensure smooth operation of service/repair.
• Ensure physical quantity of stocks and parts location tally with the system.
• Ensure mechanics receive parts Just In Time (JIT).
• Submit parts ordering to Part Warehouse after verified by SM based on order type.
• Practice Kaizen and maintain 5S in the part storage.
• Perform accurate and precise parts allocation for efficient racking.
• Report and update any back order parts to SM/superior.
• Ensure availability of parts at the service center on time when needed.
• Control parts inventory to avoid dead stock.
• Monitor pending parts collection (CRO).
• Perform any other duties specified by SM/superior.
