Job summary

Bateriku.com in Malaysia seeks an automotive technician/foreman to diagnose, service, and repair vehicles at our Kajang workshop. You will use scan tools, inspect all systems, and coordinate with Service Advisors to communicate findings clearly.

You will maintain workshop tools, follow 5S and safety SOPs, record repair details in WEBMAX, and support continuous improvement through hands-on training and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum SKM in Automotive or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as technician/foreman.
• Strong understanding of diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Ability to perform minor and major automotive repairs.
• Knowledge of workshop tools, equipment care, and 5S.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Action-oriented, fast learner; able to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong integrity and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics using scan tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct full vehicle inspections across all systems and components.
• Carry out routine servicing including oil changes, filter replacements, and general maintenance.
• Repair and replace vehicle parts, including major works such as top and full engine overhauls.
• Communicate inspection results and repair updates clearly to Service Advisors.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and organization of workshop tools and equipment.
• Follow SOPs, safety regulations, and 5S practices.
• Record all repair and service details in the system (e.g., WEBMAX) accurately.
• Support continuous improvement in technical skills, processes, and workshop efficiency.
