Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled automotive technician/foreman to join the service team. You will diagnose, inspect, service, and repair vehicles and communicate findings to Service Advisors.

Maintain workshop tools, follow SOPs and 5S standards, and record details in WEBMAX. Requirements include a Diploma in Automotive or related field with at least 1 year of experience, strong diagnostics knowledge, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Automotive or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a technician / Foreman.
• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Ability to perform both minor and major automotive repairs.
• Knowledge of workshop tools, equipment care, and 5S practices.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Action-oriented, fast learner, and able to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
• Strong integrity, work ethics, and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics using scan tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct full vehicle inspections across all systems and components.
• Carry out routine servicing including oil changes, filter replacements, and general maintenance.
• Repair and replace vehicle parts, including major works such as top and full engine overhauls.
• Communicate inspection results and repair updates clearly to Service Advisors.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and organization of workshop tools and equipment.
• Follow SOPs, safety regulations, and 5S practices (cleanliness, organization, waste management).
• Record all repair and service details in the system (e.g., WEBMAX) accurately.
• Support continuous improvement in technical skills, processes, and workshop efficiency.
