Job summary

Volt Auto Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Support Technician to assist dealers and internal teams with automotive systems, diagnose issues, and deliver prompt troubleshooting and service support.

The role requires a hands-on approach with diagnostics, service tools, and knowledge of wiring diagrams. You will travel to dealer locations as needed and contribute to accurate reporting and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in automotive service, technical support, or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with vehicle diagnostics, service tools, and technical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues reported by dealers or internal teams.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support for vehicle systems, service procedures, and equipment.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of automotive products and systems.
• Document technical problems, solutions, and service activities accurately and timely.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle technologies, diagnostic tools, and service procedures.
• Support dealer technical training programs under guidance from Technical Manager.
• Assist in warranty claim inspections, technical assessments, and reporting.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
