Job summary

Brooks Automation seeks an Engineering Specialist II to sustain daily manufacturing operations, providing first-line technical support and assisting Manufacturing Engineers across assembly, test, and calibration of complex electro‑mechanical systems. The role covers mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic software domains within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering.
Bachelor’s Degree is an advantage.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor capital equipment or high-precision automation manufacturing.
Must be willing to do 3 rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Provide line support: triage issues and troubleshoot to restore flow.
Assemble, integrate, bring-up, calibrate and test complex electro-mechanical systems.
Perform maintenance on production fixtures/testers and manage test records.
Support MRB/NCM with data and documentation; drive continuous improvement.
