Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the development and optimization of assembly processes for new products, including semi-auto and fully automatic machines.

The role requires 5-7 years of process development, a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and hands-on experience with robotics (KUKA, UR, ABB, Yumi) and vision systems (Keyence, PPT, Cognex).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Conceptualize the assembly process for semi-auto and fully automatic machines.
Plan, execute and complete assembly activities to meet timing and quality.
Assist in design, fabrication coordination, assembly, debug and test runs.
Specify automation requirements, source vendors, and qualify machines using SPC.
Coordinate with machine vendors to ensure on-time completion.
Establish process parameters and update specifications before production release.
Ensure production output, quality and yield during transfer to production.
Assist with investigations and corrective actions for manufacturing quality issues.
