Job summary

TE Connectivity Manufacturing Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing & Process Development Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) to lead the development and implementation of advanced automation solutions for cable assembly manufacturing.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and validating automated manufacturing systems, driving process innovation, quality, and operational excellence across NPI initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or Electrical engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 7 years of experience in automation engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of automated assembly equipment, robotics and automation integration, servo motion systems, pneumatic and electromechanical systems, GD&T and DFM.

Responsibilities

Lead Automation Development for cable assembly manufacturing and validate automation lines.
Drive innovation in automation technologies including robotics, machine vision, sensors, motion control, and process controls.
