Job summary

Ipsos in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a team member to support report automation and ensure data quality. You will actively engage in data preparation, dashboard development, and collaborate with various teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in data management with strong Excel skills and familiarity with BI tools like Power BI. A degree in Computer Science or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year of experience in dealing with data and/or data tables.
• Able to understand the relationship between data and report/visualization.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Support in setting up report automation program and templates.
• Involved in data preparation and data tabulation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support in setting up report automation program and templates
• Actively involved in data preparation and data tabulation (with macro)
• Support in interactive dashboard development
• Support in developing checking tools for internal QC process
• Take lead in data checking and quality assurance for all projects
• Be able to communicate effectively between research, internal team members (SG and MY), and vendor(s)
• Proactively respond to requests submitted by researchers from various Ipsos offices
• Participate in on‑going process improvement initiatives to improve overall efficiency

Requirements

• Preferably with 1 year of experience in dealing with data and/or data tables
• Able to understand the relationship/logic between data and report/visualization
• Good communication skills, written and oral
• Proficient in Excel and advanced formula
• Experience in VBA would be an advantage
• Experience in a BI platform (such as Power BI, Dapresy and Tableau) would be an advantage
• Proactive/ Self‑motivated/ Sense of ownership
• Able to work effectively in a team and independently
