Job summary

Letromec in Malaysia is seeking a Control Engineer to join the Automation & Systems team in Puchong, Selangor. You will design control architectures and work with mechanical designers to deliver integrated hardware-software solutions for precision jigs and machines.

You will develop PLC and HMI logic, calibrate sensors and actuators, and travel to client sites for installation and training, ensuring safety and documentation are in place.

Qualifications

• Foundational PLC programming knowledge required.
• Understanding of electrical schematics and control circuits.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical panels and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Assist in control system design and electrical schematic creation.
• Develop and debug PLC logic and HMIs for machine operation.
• Integrate sensors, vision systems, servos and pneumatics into control architecture.
• Perform testing, dry runs and debugging to meet cycle time and safety.
• Travel to client sites for installation, commissioning and hand-over training.
• Prepare wiring diagrams, software backups and operation manuals.
• Ensure safety compliance and E-stop/light curtain integration.
