Job summary

ACCA Careers in Malaysia seeks an experienced professional to oversee and lead audit engagements. The role includes supervising staff, reviewing working papers, drafting audit reports, and coordinating all engagement phases from quotation to deliverables and timelines.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least four years of related audit experience, with strong communication, audit principles knowledge, and solid people and client management skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead audit compliance engagements.
• Provide supervision and assignments to team members as reviewing working papers completed by staff and drafting audit report.
• Coordinate all phases of the engagement: quotation, engagement letter, client communications, staffing, deliverables and timelines.
• Contact management regarding audit scope, status and findings.
• Provide on-the-job training for staff.
• Supervise findings and follow-up tasks with management and audit staff.
• Participate and/or lead assigned special projects or audit assignments.
• Assess and provide feedback on staff performance for evaluations.
