Qualifications

• Advanced to profound understanding of audit concepts and preparation of working papers
• Identify and report audit issues under supervision
• Familiarity with auditing standards, MIA by-laws, financial accounting standards, and relevant laws
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and audit team members. Willingness to learn and adapt to diverse audit tasks
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform audit engagements based on applicable standards
• Direct day-to-day activities of the audit team for smooth workflow
• Supervise and review work of associates and trainees
• Manage engagements and ensure deliverables meet work plans and deadlines
• Coordinate with team members to address issues and maintain smooth operation
• Identify compliance issues and ensure audits adhere to legislation and standards
• Resolve moderate audit issues using professional judgment
• Consult with superiors to resolve significant audit issues
• Act as primary contact for clients during audit engagements with clear communication
