Job summary

Wong Liu & Partners in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an Audit Associate with 2–3 years of statutory audit experience to join our practical and client-focused team.

You will perform audits in compliance with standards, review working papers, communicate with clients, and mentor junior staff while occasionally traveling to outstation sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; ACCA/CPA qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant audit experience.
• Good communication and client management skills.
• Able to work independently, lead a team, and travel outstation when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and manage statutory audit assignments in compliance with applicable auditing and accounting standards.
• Review audit working papers and ensure audit documentation is properly prepared.
• Communicate with clients and follow up on audit-related matters.
• Guide junior team members and ensure audit assignments are completed accurately and on time.
