This is more than an engagement leadership role, you will shape client relationships, develop people, strengthen audit quality and contribute to the strategic direction of the practice with a genuine pathway towards equity partnership.

Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in audit practices and financial compliance.
• Experience leading audit teams and managing audits for PIEs.
• Strong analytical, judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Malaysian regulatory and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver across a diverse portfolio of audit engagements with high quality, efficiency and client service.
• Shape audit strategy aligned with regulatory developments and client needs.
• Maintain audit quality and ensure compliance with accounting, auditing and regulatory requirements.
• Advise clients on financial reporting, regulatory, governance and compliance matters.
• Build and manage client relationships with senior management and boards.
• Oversee engagement profitability, resource utilization, collections and timely delivery.
• Stay ahead of developments in financial regulations and auditing standards.
• Develop talent by mentoring and coaching audit professionals.
• Contribute to business development and growth of the practice.
