Job summary

Private Advertiser is a small, fast-moving accounting and advisory firm in Malaysia seeking an Audit Assistant. You’ll work on audits for SMEs and startups, preparing working papers and schedules, vouching and cross-checking financial statements, and assisting with drafting financial statements.

You should have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting (or pursuing ACCA/CAT), be proficient in Excel and Word, able to work independently, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or pursuing ACCA/CAT.
• Good knowledge of accounting and audit basics.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Prepare audit working papers and schedules.
• Vouch, cast and cross-check financial statements.
• Reconcile balances and follow up on missing documents.
• Help draft financial statements and audit-related documents.
• Support other accounting, tax and compliance tasks as needed.
