Job summary

CHW & CO is seeking an audit professional to perform assignments across diverse clients in Sabah. You will prepare working papers, communicate with clients, and collaborate with seniors, managers and partners to address audit findings and progress.

The role emphasizes accuracy, deadlines, and growth within the audit field in Malaysia. A degree in accounting and strong client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous audit experience is required.
• Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience using ABOT Audit Software is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Malaysian taxation is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of accounting & financial statements.
• Detail-oriented, analytical and responsible.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Able to organise work, meet deadlines and follow through on assignments.
• Team player with a willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Perform audit assignments for a variety of clients and industries.
• Prepare audit working papers, schedules & documentation.
• Communicate with clients to obtain information and follow up on outstanding documents.
• Work closely with Audit Seniors, Managers & Partner on audit issues and progress.
• Identify audit findings and discuss matters requiring further attention.
• Assist in preparing financial statements & audit reports.
• Issue invoices for audit jobs and follow up on client payments.
• Manage assigned jobs and ensure audit deadlines are met.
• Assist with other audit, accounting and related assignments when required.
