Job summary

A Malaysian accounting firm is seeking candidates for an audit position. Responsibilities include assisting audit seniors, auditing financial statements, and preparing working papers. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist audit seniors in carrying out audit tasks.
• Auditing selected areas of financial statements and note disclosures.
• Work with clients' documents and prepare audit working papers.
• Interact and liaise with clients on account and audit assignments.
• Provide support in reviewing client's internal control process.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian laws and accounting standards.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist audit seniors in carrying out audit tasks.
• Auditing selected areas of a financial statements and note disclosures.
• Work with clients documents and prepare audit working papers using CCH Pfx Engagement software.
• Interact and liaise with client on account and audit assignments.
• Provide support to senior on review of the client’s internal control process.
• Familiar with accounting and audit procedures and to ensure compliance of Malaysian laws and approved accounting standards.
