JX & Associates PLT is seeking new graduates or qualified individuals for an accounting/audit role in Malaysia. The position requires a degree in accounting or a professional qualification, with strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset.

Applicants must have their own transportation and be able to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, and experience with abot cloud audit software is a plus. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Professional Qualification in Accounting or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
• Must possess own transportation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with abot cloud audit software will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with accounting degrees or relevant studies are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Keep updated on current developments in accounting and auditing standards, tax law, and other relevant standards.
• Communicate with clients in order to obtain all necessary data and information related to the audit.
• Detailed analytical reviews of financial statements and reports.
• Execute the audit procedures as defined by engagement objectives and planned audit approach.
• Communicate and discuss potential audit issues with the Managers and Partners.
• Preparing tax computations for the audited reports.
• Preparing draft audit reports in accordance with the MPERS/MFRS and other statutory disclosure requirements.
• Handle multiple audit and tax assignments.
• Review unaudited financial statements (when needed).
