Job summary

Cheng & Co Group is seeking auditors to prepare audited and unaudited financial reports and supporting schedules for clients in Malaysia. The role involves liaising with clients and external parties to obtain necessary information and resolve audit matters, and identifying issues with practical solutions.

You will assist in planning and executing audit engagements to ensure timely completion, supervise junior team members, and ensure all work complies with regulatory and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare audited and unaudited financial reports, including financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Liaise professionally with clients, company representatives, and external parties to obtain information and resolve audit matters.
• Identify audit issues and propose practical recommendations and solutions.
• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements to ensure timely completion within deadlines.
• Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior team members when required.
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory and professional standards.
