JX & Associates PLT is seeking a diligent accounting/audit professional in Kuala Lumpur to support a range of audits and tax assignments. You will gather data from clients, perform analytical reviews, and execute audit procedures per engagement plans.

Responsibilities

• Keep updated on current developments in accounting and auditing standards, tax law, and other relevant standards.
• Communicate with clients to obtain all necessary data and information related to the audit.
• Detailed analytical reviews of financial statements and reports.
• Execute the audit procedures as defined by engagement objectives and planned audit approach.
• Communicate and discuss potential audit issues with the Managers and Partners.
• Preparing tax computations for the audited reports.
• Preparing draft audit reports in accordance with the MPERS/MFRS and other statutory disclosure requirements.
• Handle multiple audit and tax assignments.
• Review unaudited financial statements (when needed).
