Job summary

Psyap & Co. is an audit firm registered with MIA/CPA, with offices in KL, JB, and KK. We invite experienced audit staff to join our Cheras-based team, with strong opportunities for promotion and yearly assessments.

This role is based near Taman Shamelin, Cheras and includes medical benefits and a team-oriented culture. Audit Assistant responsibilities cover fieldwork, preparing working papers, verifying records, and assisting with financial statements under senior supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting/finance or related field is required.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial statements is expected.
• Willingness to learn, with attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines as needed.
• Experience with aBot audit software is an advantage.

Audit Assistant

• Assist with audit fieldwork and procedures for clients across various industries.
• Prepare audit working papers and organise supporting documents.
• Verify financial records, invoices, bank statements, and other relevant documents.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules and financial statements.
• Follow up with clients to obtain necessary documents and information.
• Perform audit assignments under the guidance of seniors and supervisors.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a positive working attitude.
• Able to work independently when required and meet assignment deadlines.
• Knowledge of aBot audit software is an added advantage
