Job summary

You will supervise staff, review working papers and financial statements, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development.

Job description

The Audit Assistant Manager/Supervisor is responsible for managing and delivering high-quality audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure that audits are planned, executed, and completed in compliance with professional standards and firm policies. You also play a key role in staff supervision, client relationship management, and business development.

Key responsibilities

Plan, manage, and complete audit engagements from start to finish within agreed timelines and budgets.

Ensure all audit work is conducted in accordance with applicable auditing standards (e.g., ISA, IFRS, MPERS, local regulations).

Review working papers, audit findings, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The appointees may need to assist in the audit of some PLCs.

Supervise, coach, mentor audit seniors supervisor, seniors and associates.

Review staff performance, provide feedback, and identify training needs.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

3. Risk & Quality Control

Monitor audit quality and adherence to firm methodology and quality control standards.

Identify and mitigate engagement risks.

Ensure compliance with ethical and independence requirements.
