Job summary

ACCA Careers in Malaysia is seeking an experienced audit professional to oversee and lead audit engagements, ensuring quality and compliance across projects.

You will supervise staff, draft reports, coordinate engagement phases, and communicate with management on scope, status, and findings. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 4 years of related audit experience required.
• Clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of audit principles and practices.
• Strong people, project and client management skills.
• Coaching and counseling skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead audit engagements.
• Providing supervision and assignments to team members as reviewing working papers completed by staff and drafting audit report.
• Coordinate all phases of the engagement, including quotation, engagement letter, communications with the client, staffing requirements, deliverables, timelines, client availability, job planning, and scheduling.
• Contact with management regarding audit scope, status, and findings
• Provides on-the-job training for staff
• Supervises findings and follow-up tasks with management and audit staff
• Participate and/or lead assigned special projects or audit assignments.
• Assess and providing feedback on staff performance for staff evaluations.
