Mercor seeks a Music Audio Expert to evaluate AI outputs in lyrics, voice generation, and related music standards. This remote contract role focuses on Mandarin Chinese proficiency and collaboration with AI research teams.

You will score musical training data quality, provide structured feedback, and work asynchronously to meet tight project deadlines, committing 10+ hours weekly. Immediate start and up to six months duration with flexible scheduling to accommodate global teams and delivery

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as music producer, audio engineer or sound mixer.
• College degree in music covering performance, theory and lyrics.
• Native or near-native proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English.

Position: Music Audio Expert - Mandarin Chinese
Type: Contract
Compensation: $39/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: Up to 6 months
Commitment: 10+ hours/week

Qualifications

Must-Have

Preferred

• Evidence of understanding musical performance, theory, and lyrics.
• Past experience writing lyrical music in the domain language.
