Job summary

Great Eastern seeks an underwriting support professional to manage all product lines in New Business Underwriting. You will process Guaranteed Issuance and standard life, accident & health, and long-term care proposals, ensuring timely decisions and accurate updates in our systems.

You will provide underwriting advice to financial representatives and bancassurance managers via e-booking, emails and calls, while staying compliant with regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder and above in related discipline with relevant insurance certifications preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.
• Computer literacy with MS Office (eg Excel, Word) applications.
• Good interpersonal skills, customer service orientated & meticulous.
• Good team player with strong analytical skills & ability to work under pressure.
• High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
• Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.

• Process Guaranteed Issuance and standard applications for life, accident & health, and long-term care proposals, including updating requirements and decisions into source system, in compliance with underwriting guidelines & regulatory requirements
