A major insurance provider in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Associate for Information Management to support the Head of Events & Promotions. The role involves monitoring reports for contests and incentives, preparing management reports, and conducting business support activities. Candidates should hold a degree or diploma, have up to 4 years of experience, and possess essential skills in agency management and relationship effectiveness. The position emphasizes integrity, accountability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
To support the Head of Events & Promotions (E&P) and assist in Information Management (IM) matters related to the Takaful business, ensuring the Company meets both its short-term targets and long-term strategic objectives specifically on agency training and development functions.
Key responsibilities:
Provides report monitoring for contest/incentives.
Provides report for new business daily submission.
Provides report for leaders’ performance tracking.
Keeps track of all contest/incentives result, report and appeal.
Prepares all reports to management (SMT/Board/CEO Dialogue).
Prepares all ad-hoc report as and when required for business analysis.
Conducts business support activities for recruitment, booth promotion, conference,
contest/incentives and all events.
Supports E&P in events throughout the year.
Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes
appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and
technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Basic Degree holder or Diploma in related field.
1 to 4 years related experience preferably in insurance or financial services environment
Have the functional competencies: agency management, relationship management effectiveness, marketing best practices, distribution channels, cross functional knowledge and ability to perform language translation (English/BM)
