Job summary

Appnovation Technologies in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a practical, multi-disciplinary software developer to join our fast-moving team building end-to-end web apps that combine Web3, AI capabilities, and modern front-end/backend stacks.

You will design secure APIs, implement smart contracts integration, work with React/Next.js or Vue.js, Node.js/Python/Go, and collaborate across product and architecture teams to deliver scalable client solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience across the full stack.
• Frontend proficiency in modern JS frameworks (React/Next.js/Vue.js) and CSS frameworks.
• Backend experience with Node.js, Python, or Go and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Web3/crypto integration experience with dApps and wallet integrations.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, SWE, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy end-to-end full stack web apps with Web3 and AI features.
• Build responsive UIs and connect them to smart contracts and APIs.
• Design secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs bridging front-end, back-end, and blockchain.
• Collaborate across UI/UX, PMs, and lead architects to deliver scalable client solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, tests, and Web3 security best practices.

• Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces and connect them to smart contracts and Web3 protocols.
• Design and implement secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs to seamlessly bridge front-end components, back-end logic, and blockchain/AI frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including UI/UX designers, project managers, and lead architects—to build scalable, cutting-edge client solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and adhere to Web3 security best practices to protect dApps against vulnerabilities.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Must Haves:

• Experience: 2+ years of professional hands-on software development experience across the entire full stack.
• Front-End Expertise: Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js, or Vue.js) and modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS).
• Back-End Development: Experience building server-side applications using Node.js, Python, or Go, along with relational/non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Web3/Crypto Integration: Solid understanding of Web3 concepts and experience integrating dApps with libraries like Ethers.js, Web3.js, or viem, along with wallet integrations (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves:

• Integrate AI models and LLM APIs (such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, or LangChain) into modern web workflows to deliver intelligent user experiences.
• Hands-on experience writing and testing smart contracts in Solidity (using Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle).
• Familiarity with Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture.
• Understanding of decentralized storage solutions like IPFS, Arweave, or Filecoin.
• Experience with DevOps practices, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
