Job summary

Novugen Pharma (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Associate Executive, Production Planning to manage and optimise production planning and supply chain processes in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.

You will ensure timely planning and capacity optimisation in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment. The role requires 1-2 years’ material planning/MRP experience in pharma or healthcare, familiarity with SAP MM/PP, CGMP, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ related experience in Material planning, MRP in Pharma/FMCG/Healthcare.
• Certification CPSM or CSCP is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient with systems/tools relevant to supply chain management.
• Strong intrapreneurial mindset and ability to adapt in startups to established organizations.
• Versatile and resilient, maintains positivity in ambiguous environments and delivers results.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards in all production planning activities.
• Hands-on SAP MM/PP: Reservation, Process order.
• Familiar with CGMP requirements, change control, deviation and investigation processes for production planning and supply chain management.
• Efficient production scheduling to maximise capacity and occupancy per demand.
• Understand and participate in schedule TNI training.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint).
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to optimise production planning efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Learn capacity planning and forecast/demand consolidation to derive production plans.
• Monitor adherence to production schedule and identify delays or bottlenecks.
• Generate monthly MIS reports: ex-factory sales, WIP, Plan Vs Actual weekly/monthly.
• Assist with new product introductions, technology transfers, validation batches.

About the role

The Associate Executive, Production planning is responsible in managing and optimizing Novugen Production planning and supply chain processes, ensuring timely and production planning/capacity planning. The incumbent will be well verse in areas of pharmaceutical material planning and supply chain planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards in all production planning activities.
• Hands‑on SAP system on MM/PP Module for, Reservation, Process order.
• To familiar with CGMP requirement along with change control, deviation and Investigation process related to production planning and supply chain management.
• Efficient production scheduling to utilize maximum capacity for good occupancy as per demand.
• To understand training of self on schedule TNI.
• Proficient with Microsoft office tools i.e. Word, Excel, MS Project & PowerPoint
• Collaborate with cross function department to optimize production planning efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
• Learning ability on Capacity Planning
• Understanding about forecast/demand consolidation to derive production plan.
• Good communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationship internally and externally
• Follow up with QA/QC on the release of Finished Goods dispatch schedule.
• Monthly production planning signs off
• To generate monthly MIS report i.e. ex‑factory sales, WIP report, Plan Vs Actual on weekly and monthly basis.
• Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the management.
• Monitor adherence to production schedule, identify delays or bottlenecks.
• plan vs. actual performance, capacity utilization, and on‑time delivery.
• Support new product introductions, technology transfers, validation batches.

About you

• 1-2 years’ related experience from Pharma, FMCG, and Healthcare industries, specifically in Material planning section and MRP.
• Possess Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in using systems / software / tools relevant to supply chain management, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry etc
• Strong intrapreneurial skills and mindset from start up to established organization
• Versatile and resilient, ability to stay positive in ambiguous environments and work towards delivering results
