Job summary

Novugen Malaysia is seeking an Associate Manager, Material Planning with strong SAP PP/MRP expertise to lead material planning and ensure timely procurement of direct materials in line with GMP standards.

You will drive MRP in SAP, manage inventory, and coordinate with Procurement, Production and QA to maintain material availability, drive KPI performance, and support launches while ensuring regulatory compliance across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in Material Planning within Pharma, FMCG or Healthcare industries.
• Professional certifications CPSM or CSCP are an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP MM/PP modules.
• Strong time management, analytical, planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute material planning per strategy to ensure timely materials availability.
• Maintain and optimize material planning schedules from forecasts to PR creation.
• Run MRP in SAP to ensure uninterrupted production material supply.
• Monitor inventory levels, minimize stockouts and obsolescence.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, QA and Supply Chain teams.
• Track supplier delivery performance and resolve shortages proactively.
• Review BOMs and master data in SAP for accuracy.
• Prepare MIS reports on inventory, material availability and planning KPIs.
• Support new product launches, transfers and engineering changes with material readiness.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP and company quality standards.
