Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Malaysia (Penang) is seeking an electronics/maintenance technician to support labeling equipment and production lines.

You will troubleshoot electrical faults, calibrate testers and printers, and perform preventive maintenance in accordance with ISO and safety guidelines. You should have a Diploma in Science or Engineering and 3–5 years of experience in an MNC, with good communication and computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Science/Engineering preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in MNC environments.
• Willing to work on shifts and independently resolve technical issues.
• Good computer literacy and communication skills.
• Familiar with test systems, printers and vision software.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed customer quality expectations per Quality Policy.
• Provide technical support on labeling equipment as directed by engineers.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and debug software issues.
• Perform calibration/verification of testers and other automated equipment.
• Maintain documentation of checklists and preventive maintenance.
