Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a dynamic Assistant Warehouse Manager in Shah Alam to ensure technicians have what they need, when they need it, supporting safe and efficient service delivery.

You will lead a high-performing warehouse team, optimize layouts, manage inventory, and collaborate with Procurement, Service, and Commercial teams to resolve supply issues while upholding global standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Warehouse/Logistics, Business Management or related field.
• 4–5 years of proven warehouse management experience.
• Analytical, data-driven and proactive in solving shortages before they affect operations.
• Strong coaching and leadership to manage daily activities with KPI oversight.
• Proficient in computer systems (WMS/ERP) and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all receipt, storage, and dispatch activities, ensuring efficiency and compliance with standards.
• Maintain inventory integrity and zero stock variance; enforce FIFO/LIFO and NCR processes.
• Optimize space layout, forecast demand, and initiate stock ordering to prevent stockouts/overstocking.
• Lead, mentor, and upskill warehouse team to foster teamwork, safety, and accountability.
• Act as bridge between Procurement, Service, and Commercial teams for order fulfilment and issue resolution.
• Maintain meticulous records for audits and use data-driven insights to improve turnover and reduce waste.

As our Assistant Warehouse Manager, you aren’t just "moving boxes." You are the backbone of our service operations. You will ensure our technicians have exactly what they need, when they need it, to keep our customers safe. From layout optimization to leading a high-performing team, you will own the efficiency of our warehouse.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Operational Excellence: Oversee all receipt, storage, and dispatch activities, ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance with Rentokil’s global standards.
• Inventory Integrity: Achieve zero stock variance. Implement strict FIFO/LIFO principles and manage the "Non-Conformance Report" (NCR) process to maintain quality control.
• Strategic Planning: Optimize space layout to maximize capacity, manage demand forecasting, and initiate stock ordering to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Leadership & Coaching: Lead, mentor, and upskill the warehouse team. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of teamwork, safety (SHE), and accountability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the key bridge between Procurement, Service, and Commercial teams to coordinate order fulfilment and resolve supply issues.
• Data & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records for audits and utilize data-driven insights to improve inventory turnover and reduce waste.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Education: Minimum Diploma in Warehouse/Logistics, Business Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 4-5 years of proven track record in warehouse management.
• Mindset: Analytical, data-driven, and proactive in solving "shortage" issues before they affect operations.
• Leadership: A strong coach who can manage daily activities while maintaining a high-level view of KPIs.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in computer systems (WMS/ERP) and inventory software.

Highly Desirable:

• Excellent problem solving , multi-tasking & planning skills
• Ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve & meet service KPI
• Ability to think on your feet to coach team with service and customer focused solutions
• Versatility to build rapport with people at all levels
• A strong track record of reducing stock losses and improving accuracy
