Job summary

Segi Fresh - Retails is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for our Selangor outlet. You will oversee daily store operations, drive profitability, and support marketing efforts to achieve targets.

You will lead the team through hiring, training, and routine administration while ensuring compliance, safety, and high standards of customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as Assistant Store Manager or similar role
• SPM and above educational qualification
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in operational procedures and inventory management
• Knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies and staff training
• Understanding government regulations and compliance requirements

Assistant Store Manager (Ijok, Selangor)

As an Assistant Store Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee the overall operations of the store and ensure the efficiency of smooth operations according to the company standard.

Key responsibilities

Manage store operations and support marketing efforts

Improve store profitability by controlling costs and inventory

Track sales and use local marketing to meet targets

Create a positive workplace for excellent customer service

Build and maintain a productive workforce through hiring and training

Oversee maintenance, facilities, and IT systems

Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and product display comply with company policy

Follow cash handling procedures, including for cashiers and CIT

Handle daily and monthly administrative tasks, including ordering and inventory

Manage store licenses and legal compliance with government authorities

About you

SPM and above

Proven experience as an Assistant Store Manager or in a similar role for 3 years and above

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Excellent problem-solving abilities

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in operational procedures and inventory management

Knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies

Ability to motivate and train staff

Understanding of government regulations and compliance
