Job summary

Segi Fresh - Retails Banting, Selangor is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations and ensure efficiency according to company standards.

You will lead staff, manage inventory and costs, support marketing efforts, and drive sales targets while maintaining a safe, clean store environment. Training will be provided and benefits include EPF & SOCSO, annual leave, medical and allowances.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager or similar
• SPM and above
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies
• Ability to motivate and train staff
• Understanding of government regulations and compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and ensure smooth daily functioning according to company standards
• Control costs and manage inventory to improve profitability
• Track sales and support local marketing efforts to hit targets
• Create a positive workplace and deliver excellent customer service
• Hire and train staff to build a productive team
• Maintain store facilities, IT systems and safety procedures
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and licensing requirements
• Handle cash procedures and coordination with cashiers/CIT

Assistant Store Manager (Banting, Selangor)

As an Assistant Store Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee the overall operations of the store and ensure the efficiency of smooth operations according to the company standard.

Key responsibilities

• Manage store operations and support marketing efforts
• Improve store profitability by controlling costs and inventory
• Track sales and use local marketing to meet targets
• Create a positive workplace for excellent customer service
• Build and maintain a productive workforce through hiring and training
• Oversee maintenance, facilities, and IT systems
• Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and product display comply with company policy
• Follow cash handling procedures, including for cashiers and CIT
• Handle daily and monthly administrative tasks, including ordering and inventory
• Manage store licenses and legal compliance with government authorities

About you

• SPM and above
• Proven experience as an Assistant Store Manager or in a similar role for 3 years and above
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in operational procedures and inventory management
