About the Role

We are looking for an Assistant Sales Manager who is client-centric, growth focused, an effective communicator and negotiator, disciplined and a team player to grow relationships with our major clients and achieve profitable sales growth for the Company.

Assigned a portfolio of key clients from an industry sector, the Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets as part of the Company’s strategic objectives. The Assistant Sales Manager takes the lead throughout the sales cycle, facilitating teamwork and communication, and ensures that the client’s short- and long-term needs are met.

What you'll do:

  • Sales Leadership: To lead and motivate a team of Enterprise Account Managers to achieve business goals. This includes providing a clear direction, leading change, collaborating across the company and creating an environment that fosters professional success.
  • Driving sales results: To develop business expansion of the assigned sectors and accounts.
  • Increase Customer Acquisition: To sign up new customers from assigned sectors.
  • Customer Relationships:To develop and maintain high level of customer satisfaction & trust
  • Sales Coaching and People Development: To individually coach, mentor, and develop account managers performance. This includes coaching both sales skills and sales strategy and developing individual development plans.

About You

The ideal candidate will excel at building and maintaining strong client relationships and be eager to leverage their exceptional communication skills to drive our broader business goals forward. We believe that to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Minimum 10 years of proven track record in enterprise IT solution sales, and minimum 2 years of people management experience.
  • Experience working with large enterprise customers is an added advantage.
  • Positive, proactive, result oriental & ambitious. Able to work independently, lead and groom a sales team.
  • Ability to manage enterprise sales cycle and sector business development.
  • Ability to build and gain the trust of customers & colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
