Work closely with Sales and internal support teams to translate brand objectives into measurable results.
Key responsibilities
Brand planning and commercial recommendations
Develop draft plans for assigned brands or workstreams, including customer segments, key messages, activities, timelines, budgets and performance measures.
Use sales data, field insights and competitor information to identify opportunities and recommend practical actions.
Translate approved brand plans into monthly and quarterly priorities, ensuring strategic initiatives progress alongside routine operational work.
Market insights and performance tracking
Maintain accurate sales and marketing trackers using available systems and analyse performance by product, customer segment or channel.
Conduct field visits and gather structured feedback from the sales team and healthcare professionals on customer needs and barriers to adoption.
Prepare monthly reviews that explain performance gaps, propose corrective actions and track agreed follow-up.
Manage assigned campaigns, scientific meetings, conferences and other healthcare professional engagement activities from planning through follow-up.
Develop promotional materials, presentations and sales tools using approved evidence and brand positioning; coordinate review and approval before use.
Coordinate vendors, stakeholders and deadlines, monitor spending and evaluate outcomes against the objectives set for each initiative.
Sales team support and capability building
Prepare and deliver product training, competitor updates and objection-handling resources in collaboration with the reporting manager and relevant teams.
Work with Sales Managers to communicate campaign priorities, support customer targeting and follow up on field implementation.
Use field observations and feedback to improve the clarity and practical usefulness of marketing tools and training.
Launch coordination and financial monitoring
Own assigned launch workstreams, such as materials, training, events and readiness tracking, and deliver them against agreed milestones.
Contribute to sales and demand forecasts, document key assumptions and flag changes in demand or stock requirements.
Track approved marketing expenditure and coordinate with Finance and Supply Chain on budget or inventory concerns relevant to assigned brands.
Stakeholder coordination and ownership
Build effective working relationships with healthcare professionals, sales colleagues, internal teams and external partners.
Maintain clear project plans, follow up proactively and take responsibility for agreed deliverables without relying on repeated reminders.
Identify risks early, propose solutions and escalte decisions beyond the role’s authority before deadlines or business objectives are affected.
Compliance and scientific accuracy
Ensure materials and activities follow approved product information, company policies and required Medical and Regulatory review processes.
Develop the ability to assess clinical evidence and communicate product information accurately within approved claims.
Follow company procedures for promptly escalating adverse events and product quality complaints to the responsible teams.
