Job summary

Nestlé Global Procurement is seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager – Generic Equipment in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage commercial and sourcing activities for the Generic Equipment spend across global hubs, leveraging strategic sourcing processes to drive value, efficiency and sustainability.

In this hybrid, full-time role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead negotiations, and ensure governance across policies.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, science, procurement, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sourcing experience in technical categories.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

As an Assistant Procurement Manager – Generic Equipment at Nestlé Global Procurement, your mission is to manage commercial and sourcing activities for the Generic Equipment spend in scope at a global level, leveraging strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies to drive value, efficiency and sustainable business results. We operate on a truly global scale, bringing together over 40 nationalities across three dynamic hubs in Switzerland, Panama, and Malaysia. What Will Make You Successful

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Procurement, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sourcing experience, ideally within technical categories; experience with laboratory supplies, services or equipment is a plus.
• Strong ability to work effectively in a complex, cross-functional and global environment.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across a global network.
• Proven knowledge of strategic sourcing tools, category management and risk management.
• Fluency in English, any other language considered as asset.
