Job summary

Kanry Search is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager (Logistics) to oversee daily warehouse, logistics, distribution, and transportation operations. Location is in Johor Bahru with relocation to Kulai as needed, and a monthly salary of RM4,500–RM6,000 plus variable bonus.

The role requires 3–5 years in logistics or related fields, leadership capabilities, and willingness to travel for site visits within Malaysia and Asia. Expect a Monday–Friday work week and safety compliance oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, transportation or supply chain operations.
• Experience supervising operational teams is an advantage.

Assistant Operations Manager (Logistics)

Location: Taman Eko Perniagaan, Johor Bahru
(Company will relocate to Kulai, near JPO)

Basic Salary: RM4,500 – RM6,000 + Variable Bonus
Working Days: Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing daily warehouse, logistics, distribution and transportation operations.

Coordinate inbound, outbound, storage, inventory and delivery activities to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor operational performance, productivity, inventory accuracy and delivery KPIs.

Coordinate transportation schedules, fleet activities and third-party transport providers.

Liaise with customers, vendors and internal teams to resolve operational issues.

Supervise drivers, contractors and operations staff, including manpower planning and work allocation.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and operational procedures.

Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and safety documentation.

Support customer service levels and ensure agreed SLAs are achieved.

Prepare operational reports and support cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.

Travel when required for site visits, audits and operational support within Malaysia, Singapore and other parts of Asia.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, transportation or supply chain operations.

Experience supervising operational teams will be an advantage.

Good knowledge of warehouse, transportation and safety operations.

Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Willing to travel when required
