Job summary

ADDX is seeking an Operations Analyst in Malaysia (Johor Bahru) to work closely with fund and security issuers on subscriptions, redemptions, and entitlement distributions, while ensuring regulatory compliance. You will review processing, reconciliations, settlements, and reporting, guiding junior team members and escalating risks as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic awareness of financial products such as equities, bonds, and funds.
• General awareness of financial markets or investment platforms.
• Exposure to operations concepts (settlements, reconciliation) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate subscription and redemption processing for funds or securities
• Review entitlement distributions processing to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Review daily updating of fund and structured product prices
• Monitor distribution pay-outs and investigate discrepancies flagged by the team
• Review account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution or escalation of breaks
• Review regulatory reporting data before submission to the Singapore team
• Oversee post-trade settlement activities and ensure proper completion of transaction records
• Review issuer fee schedules and monitor status of invoice payments
• Maintain oversight of operational trackers and ensure completeness and timeliness of updates
• Provide guidance to junior team members (maker role) and ensure adherence to SOPs
• Escalate exceptions, issues, and risks to the Singapore team in a timely manner

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Lookup functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred)
• Ability to handle and clean data
• Familiarity with data tools is a plus:
• SQL / basic querying (preferred but not hard requirement)
• Experience with any workflow or automation tool is a bonus
