Longe Medikal Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager – Technical Operations to strengthen engineering operations, product realization, and commercial delivery.

This role emphasizes outcome-driven execution, sound judgment, and the ability to balance competing priorities in a growing medical device company. You will translate priorities into milestones, interpret technical specs and BOMs, and improve SOPs, documentation, and process controls.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant engineering or operations experience.
• Ability to read technical specs, drawings, BOMs and production requirements.
• Strong planning, prioritization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with SOPs, quality systems, and structured reporting.
• ISO 13485 or regulated manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Longe Medikal is seeking a technically capable, resourceful, and accountable Assistant Manager to strengthen engineering operations, product realization, and commercial delivery. This is an outcome-driven role requiring sound judgment, structured execution, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a growing medical technology company.

Key responsibilities

Deliver Results: Translate business priorities into achievable milestones, ensuring timely execution and reliable outcomes.

Exercise Technical Judgment: Understand engineering requirements, identify discrepancies, and make informed operational recommendations.

About you

Degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.

Preferably 2–4 years of relevant engineering, technical operations, manufacturing, or project management experience.

Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, BOMs, and production requirements.

Strong planning, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Familiarity with SOPs, technical documentation, quality systems, and structured reporting.

Exposure to ISO 13485 or regulated manufacturing is an advantage.

Professional maturity to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate operational risks early.
