Job summary

PESTEC International Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Manager / Senior Executive, Corporate Finance and Treasury to support evaluation, structuring and execution of corporate finance transactions and treasury initiatives.

You will help develop financial models, monitor compliance with Bursa Malaysia and other regulations, and prepare papers for management and boards. The role requires strong analytical skills, independence and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Accounting, Banking or Business-Related Studies.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent are an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience.
• Ability to work independently with reliability, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement corporate proposals, funding strategies and capital raises.
• Conduct valuations using market-credible methodologies.
• Develop and maintain financial models including cash flow, P&L, balance sheets, debt schedules and sensitivity analyses.
• Ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission Malaysia and other regulations.
• Prepare management, committee and Board papers on proposals and treasury matters.
• Support treasury by monitoring debt maturities, payments, liaising with bankers, and management reporting.

Assistant Manager / Senior Executive, Corporate Finance and Treasury

About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Finance and Treasury professional to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the evaluation, structuring and execution of corporate finance transactions, funding arrangements and treasury initiatives, contributing to the achievement of the company's financial objectives and sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• To assist in evaluating and implementing corporate proposals, funding strategies and capital raising exercises.
• To assist in conducting valuations using appropriate valuation methodologies, ensuring that valuation assumptions are reasonable, supportable and aligned with market benchmarks.
• To develop, review and maintain financial models, including cash flow projections, profit and loss forecasts, balance sheets, debt schedules and sensitivity analyses.
• To monitor and ensure corporate finance, treasury and capital market activities comply with applicable Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission Malaysia and other statutory or regulatory requirements.
• To assist in preparing management, committee and Board papers on corporate proposals, funding strategies, treasury matters, and capital-raising exercises.
• To support treasury team by monitoring debt maturity profiles, making payments, liaising with bankers, and preparing management reporting where required.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Engineering, Accounting, Banking or Business-Related Studies with at least a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience.

Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high level of reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
