Job summary

Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager to coordinate the ERM framework and support strategic objectives across the organisation. This role will drive risk identification, assessment and monitoring in collaboration with departments, and ensure effective governance and continuous improvement of risk controls.

The successful candidate will lead BCP activities, oversee regulatory compliance, coordinate audits, and prepare reports for senior management and the Board,

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework to support strategic and operational objectives.
• Facilitate risk identification, risk assessment and monitoring with departments and business units.
• Review and consolidate departmental risk registers; monitor key risk exposures and track mitigation plans.
• Monitor emerging strategic, operational, financial, compliance and reputational risks that may impact the Company.
• Monitor KRIs; prepare risk dashboards, heat maps and reports for Management and Board Committees; coordinate BCP reviews.
• Facilitate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) reviews, BCP testing, simulations and readiness assessments.
• Coordinate compliance and governance frameworks across the organisation, including policies and delegated authority limits.
• Coordinate and monitor closure of audit findings from Internal/External audits and regulatory reviews; assess regulatory changes and impact.
• Support governance, integrity and policy review; serve as secretariat for risk, compliance and BCP committees; maintain compliance register.
• Prepare management reports, presentations and committee papers, and quarterly/annual risk, compliance and business continuity reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Head of Department/Management.

Job description

Ø Coordinate the implementation and enhance the Company’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework to support the achievement of Company’s strategic and operational objectives.

Ø Facilitate risk identification, risk assessment and monitoring exercises with departments and business units.

Ø Review, maintain and consolidate departmental risk registers and monitor key risk exposures across the organization as well as tracking mitigation plans.

Ø Monitor emerging strategic, operational, financial, compliance and reputational risks that may impact the Company.

Ø Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), prepare risk dashboards, heat maps and reports for Management and Board Committees. Coordinate implementation and periodic review of Business Continuity Plans (BCP).

Ø Facilitate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) reviews, BCP testing, simulation, exercises and readiness assessments.

Ø Coordinate the implementation and monitoring of compliance and governance frameworks across the organisation, including internal policies, delegated authority limits and operational procedures.

Ø Coordinate and monitor the closure of audit findings arising from Internal Audit, External Audit and regulatory reviews. Track regulatory changes and assess business impact on Company operations.

Ø Support governance, integrity and policy review initiatives all across departments. Serve as secretariat for risk, compliance and BCP committees. Maintain and follow up compliance register and monitor regulatory obligations.

Ø Prepare management reports, presentations and committee papers, as well as quarterly and annual reports on risk, compliance and business continuity matters.

Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Department and /or Management from time to time.
