Funding Societies | Modalku is a leading SME digital finance platform operating across Southeast Asia. We are seeking a results‑driven operations leader who can guide a hands‑on team in daily KYC/AML workflows, optimize processes, and drive data‑driven improvements.

You will lead 3–5 operations team members, design SOPs, and implement automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliances, while collaborating across functions in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in fintech, digital lending, or banking back‑office operations with 2+ years supervising a hands‑on team.
• Solid grasp of KYC, loan documentation workflows, and AML requirements.
• Proven ability to automate processes and implement measurable process improvements.
• Strong coaching, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Data‑driven mindset with Excel, data analysis, and reporting tools (SQL or Power BI is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage 3–5 operations team members, driving accountability and growth.
• Stay hands‑on by participating in daily operations, reviews, EKYC/AML screenings, and monthly audits.
• Set operational standards, checklists, and workflows to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Map workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize efficiency.
• Test, pilot, and implement AI tools and automation solutions to streamline processes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date SOPs and process documentation.
• Prepare external stakeholder documentation.
• Build dashboards to track team KPIs, turnaround times, error rates, and SLA.
• Analyze operational data to identify risks and present leadership with recommendations.

What you will do:

• Team Leadership & Operations
  • Lead, coach, and manage 3–5 operations team members, driving accountability and growth.
  • Stay hands‑on by directly participating in daily operations, document reviews, EKYC/AML screenings, and monthly audits.
  • Set operational standards, checklists, and workflows to ensure team accuracy and compliance.
• Process Improvement & AI
  • Map workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Test, pilot, and implement AI tools and automation solutions to streamline processes.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Reporting & Analytics
  • Prepare external stakeholder documentation.
  • Build dashboards to track team KPIs, turnaround times, error rates, and SLA compliance.
  • Analyze operational data to identify risks and present recommendations to senior leadership.

What we are looking for:

• Experience: 4–6 years in fintech, digital lending, or banking back‑office operations, with 2+ years supervising a hands‑on team.
• Domain Knowledge: Solid grasp of KYC, loan documentation workflows, and AML requirements.
• Track Record: Proven ability to automate processes and implement measurable process improvements.
• Leadership: Strong coaching, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Analytical Skills: Data‑driven mindset proficient with Excel, data analysis, and reporting tools (SQL or Power BI is a plus).
• Key Traits: Self‑starter with high attention to detail, strong resilience in fast‑paced environments, and a growth mindset.
