Job summary

Crowe Malaysia is seeking an experienced ESG professional to lead and implement sustainability strategies across client engagements in Malaysia. You will facilitate ESG assessments, evaluate risks, and coordinate with clients to align with reporting standards.

The role requires a degree in sustainability fields, at least five years of relevant experience, and fluency in English. You will review reports, provide training, and work with ESG consultants to deliver practical, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Sustainability related field or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience including sustainability management.
• Familiar with GRI, IFRS 1/IFRS 2, and GHG Protocols.
• Proficient in English, spoken and written.

• Review sustainability reports to ensure that the report presented complies with the relevant reporting standards and guidelines.
• Provide training on sustainability based on globally accepted best practices.
• Work closely with ESG consultants to deliver ESG strategies for clients.

Requirements:

• Possess a degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Energy Engineering, Agricultural Science, Accounting, or related field in Sustainability.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the related field including sustainability management experience.
• Familiar with GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), IFRS 1 and IFRS 2 (International Sustainability Standards Board), GHG (Greenhouse Gas) Protocols Reporting and other related reporting standards.
• Have proficiency in the English language (spoken and written).
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
