TPG Oil & Gas located in Tanjung Langsat, Johor, seeks an Assistant Manager, Maintenance to lead mechanical, electrical, instrument and chargeman teams within a biodiesel manufacturing facility.
The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, planning, and documentation across pumps, valves, piping, heat exchangers, and boilers while ensuring DOSH compliance and safe operations. 5–8 years in related industries preferred.

Supervise day-to-day activities of the mechanical, electrical, instrument and chargeman teams and boiler team
Execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance schedules for all equipment
Coordinate maintenance with production to minimize plant downtime
Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plans
Prepare plant preventive maintenance schedule and follow up execution
Maintain plan equipment’s records and keep track bad actors’ equipment
To use RCA, PDCA, 5why tools for troubleshooting
Oversee maintenance of pumps, valves, piping, heat exchangers, gearboxes, pumps, blowers, centrifuges, tanks and reactors
Supervise mechanical fitting, gasket replacement, welding and fabrication works
Troubleshoot mechanical failures, identify root causes and recommend improvements
Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and instrumentation faults quickly and safely
Oversee safe operation and maintenance of boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, chiller, steam lines and other utilities
Ensure compliance with DOSH (JKKP) requirements for boiler, pressure vessels and lifting equipment
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Maintenance Engineering
Minimum 5–8 years experience in maintenance (preferably in palm oil refining, biodiesel, chemical or manufacturing)
Strong knowledge in mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, instrumentation calibration and utilities
Experience supervising Chargeman AO/BO teams is a strong advantage
Familiar with DOSH, Energy Commission (ST), MPOB, RSPO/ISCC and safety compliance
