Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting; CA qualification/part-qualified encouraged.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably as Assistant Finance Manager or Senior Finance Executive.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on audit experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in a multi-currency environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial and management reporting packages.
• Assist in managing General Ledger accounts and reconciliations.
• Undertake bank reconciliations and maintain fixed asset register.
• Review and analyze management accounts (Balance Sheet, P&L).
• Invoicing and alignment of expenditures to budgets and GL accounts.
• Support SST and Provisional Tax returns and year-end audits.

Job description

Financial and management accounting, reporting and compliance including Treasury functions. Working primarily with the finance team yet, also producing reports and /or results to be used locally amongst the leadership team or regionally.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Assist Senior Finance Manager and CFO in preparing the monthly financial and management reporting packages.

General Ledger Management: Assist in managing General Ledger accounts and preparing reconciliation.

Undertake Bank Reconciliations.

Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedule, run depreciation monthly, keep records.

Assist in reviewing and analyzing management accounts (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, and etc), and analysis of Line of Business financial performance

Invoicing: Issuing of Invoice/e-Invoices for Device Protection and Reinsurance business.

Monitor coding undertaken by the business and ensure align expenditure to budget categories and GL accounts.

Audit Support: Assist in the year-end audit and review process.

Tax and Compliance: Assist in deliver complete SST and Provisional Tax returns.

Assist Senior Finance Manager in preparing the reporting and compliance for Labuan entity.

Perform ad hoc analysis as required

Other duties as requested by Senior Finance Manager or CFO.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Accounting and/or CA Qualified/Part-Qualified.

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably as an Assistant Finance Manager or Senior Finance Executive.

Strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in audit processes.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with advanced spreadsheet skills.

Experience working in a multi-currency environment is highly desirable.

Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
