Job summary

Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager - Outlet to support the Outlet Manager in delivering authentic hospitality, driving profitability, and ensuring guest satisfaction aligned with Hyatt standards.

You will lead a team, manage daily outlet operations, implement training, uphold brand/service excellence, and contribute to upselling initiatives while maintaining budget discipline and quality service.

Qualifications

• Ideally with a relevant Degree, Apprenticeship or Diploma in Hospitality or Restaurant Management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Outlet Manager or Team Leader.
• Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong administrative skills especially in Microsoft Office.

The Assistant Manager - Outlet is responsible to assist the Outlet Manager in managing the assigned outlet as a successful independent profit center, in line with the outlet’s operating concept and Hyatt International standards, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction while operating within budget, helping to ensure the financial success of the outlet.

To ensure each member has completed his or her online trainings, is familiar with World Of Hyatt the loyalty program, a proper upselling program is in place, takes frequent audits to see the teams performances, provides good knowledge and ensures team provides maximum guest satisfaction. Able to train and develop the team with new ideas and methods.
