Job summary

CARSOME is seeking a compliance and legal professional to help implement and update policies, monitor daily operations for regulatory adherence, and support risk management across its Southeast Asia operations.

You will draft and review contracts, assist with license renewals, and lead training to elevate employee awareness on compliance. The role collaborates with stakeholders and requires strong attention to detail and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Auditing, Law, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in compliance or a related function.
• Experience with internal audits, compliance reviews, regulatory inspections and legal document review
• Skilled in drafting and enforcing SOPs and governance documents.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• High integrity, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Implementing and updating compliance policies and procedures in cooperation with the Compliance Manager.
• Monitoring daily operations to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Conducting periodic compliance assessments and providing reports on findings and recommendations.
• Ensure timely license renewal and submission to regulatory bodies (e.g., KPKT/KPDNHEP/BNM, SSM, etc.).
• Organizing training programs and workshops to raise employee awareness of compliance policies and procedures.
• Participating in investigations related to non-compliance incidents and recommending corrective actions.
• Investigate and report suspicious activities; prepare and file STRs.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing of commercial contracts, NDAs, service agreements and other legal documents.
• Maintain and manage contract repository and support legal documentation for corporate exercises.

Job description

You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Compliance, Finance, Business, or a related field, with relevant experience in compliance, legal, risk management, or AML/CFT. You possess a good understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance monitoring, and legal documentation, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You are highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with various stakeholders.

Your Day-to-Day
